THE first of as many as three "Battlestar Galactica" TV movies is set for next year, according to reports.

The addictive sci-fi series is set to end early next year - and filming on the series wrapped late last week at studios in Vanccouver, British Columbia where it is filmed.

But cast members are being told they’ll be coming back in August to make a TV movie that will air after the series is finished, according to a report in the LA Times.

But no official announcement has yet been made. Producers want to do the movies before the cast scatters to new jobs and the sets are torn down.

SCI-FI, the cable channel that airs "Galactica," is reportedly entertaining the idea of as many as three TV movies.
